Né sur les cendres des défunts Slowdive, le groupe de Neil Halstead et Rachel Goswell en a pris le chemin opposé en substituant folk et acoustique aux murs du son qu’ils pratiquaient avant.
Plus les disques s’enchaînent, et plus on va vers une folk calme et tranquille, fortement teintée d’inspirations Byrdsiennes ou lorgnant vers Neil Young.
