Ont inventé en vrac le punk rock, le psyché, l’opéra-rock, le "groupe de vieux, potes de Sid Vicious, qui font du punk" en 77, et surtout, surtout, noyés dans une débauche d’alcool et de drogues, le mythe des "survivors" aux côtés de Keith Richards.
Phil May est le seul bastion stable du groupe. Dick Taylor, le gratteux génial, fait des allers-retours au sein du groupe. On retiendra aussi Viv Prince, premier batteur alcoolo de l’histoire du rock, et son remplaçant Skip Alan...
