The Divine Comedy

A l’origine (1989), The Divine Comedy c’est trois musiciens nord irlandais qui signent un mini-album ’Fanfare for the Comic Muse’ sur le label Setanta. Leurs influences : R.E.M et Ride.
Quelques années plus tard, cela deviendra le groupe à géométrie variable de Neil Hannon, auteur, compositeur et interprète qui ne cesse de nous enchanter avec sa pop singulière et raffinée depuis ’Liberation’ (1993).
