Une folk qui navigue entre la hargne, le trouble et les frissons



Shannon Wright, nous vient de Jacksonville en Floride. On l’a vu participé au groupe Crowsdell, à la fin des années 80. Menant une carrière solo depuis la fin des années 90, elle n’en finit plus de jeter le trouble dans un rock-folk habité.

Ces instruments de prédilection semblent être la guitare et le piano, mais le plus étonnant, c’est cette voix si endiablée et si féminine ; le tout se mariant sur des morceaux qui retournent les émotions.
